Driving could be split into three sections - miles covered, amount of petrol consumed and the amount spent on petrol.
If you visit a specific (or chain of) restaurant regularly, you could also monitor that, and again divide it into sub-categories - do you select the same meal every time? If so, how many times do you eat the same meal over an extended period of time? Oooh, also, do you see the same waiter/waitress? That would be interesting in terms of staff turnover!
